We are thrilled to introduce enhancements to the appearance of the Document Viewer screen.
Existing Document Viewer
Becomes the New Document Viewer
The new screen has the same great features but an updated look and feel, making it more user-friendly. We have also updated and improved functionality to allow you to tailor it to your work style.
All functionality may not be available to all users and is based on your user role and security.

Current Search
The name of the current search is displayed in the top left.
Message/Error Pane
Any messages/errors will be displayed in the center.
Document Actions
Undo All Changes
Discards all changes made to the document and reloads the document.
NEW! Save and Update
Save changes and update the document, but allow you to remain on the document for further action.
Save and Close

Image smoothing was located in the lower right corner of the Document Viewer but has been moved to the Viewer Toolbar. It now contains a drop-down with levels of smoothing to select from No to High.

Document Viewer Settings
NEW Flip Side Panes Functionality
You can customize the Document Viewer by flipping the Side Panes, including the Index Data and Thumbnails, from right to left. This will also flip the More Fields and the History buttons. The default will be on the right.
Click on the gear icon on the top toolbar and select ‘Flip Side Panes.’ Once selected, the data pane will change from one side to the other. This change will automatically be saved and become the user's default.

You still have the same ability to customize your Document viewer layout to meet your needs, but the feature is now located under the new gear icon on the Viewer Toolbar.

More Fields/Less Fields
More Fields/Less Fields is no longer contained at the bottom of the Index Data pane but is now located above the Index Data on the Document Viewer Toolbar. If you use the Flip Side Panel option, the More Fields/Less Fields will move with the Index Data Pane.

Audit Information/History

Audit Information has been renamed History. It is no longer contained at the bottom of the Index Data pane but is now located above the Index Data on the Document Viewer Toolbar. If you use the Flip Side Panel option, the History will move with the Index Data Pane.

Discussion Pane
The Discussion Pane remains at the bottom of the index data panel but has improved usability.
- You can now scroll through the comments instead of clicking through pages.
Using the scroll bar on the right side of the pane.
- Newest comments will appear at the bottom of the pane.
The default will automatically take you to the bottom of the pane, showing the newest comment.
- Adding a comment is simple and no longer requires a separate text box.
Type in your comment and hit Enter or Send
- If you need to edit or delete a comment, click on the comment

- To edit, you make your changes and click ‘Save.’

- To delete an unwanted comment, you click ‘Delete’

GL Coding
The GL Coding has been updated to have an updated look and feel.

GL Coding Form Updates
Columns on the coding form are a default, uniform size for a user with no saved settings
- Coding Form columns are now resizable.
Expanding the Account column
- You can save these changes for all future documents by using the Save Layout option under the gear icon on the Viewer Toolbar
- If the form is larger than the screen, a horizontal scrollbar is added
- Freeze column for Distribution Amount
- If the number of columns on the Coding Form is wider than the width of the screen, the Distribution Amount column will be frozen to the right side of the screen, so that it is always visible.
