The DIN is the Document Imaging Number that DataServ assigns to each image/document. It is a unique number. The format is mmddyy and then a four-digit sequence number. For example, 1130180022.
The mmddyy is the date that the document was imported into DataServ and the sequence number is reset each day, starting at "0001".
The DIN number is helpful when opening a support ticket because it enables the support team to quickly identify a document.
