Accepted File Types

Document types that DataServ will accept are:

• Adobe PDF document
• TIFF (fax),
• Microsoft Word document,
• Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, 
• Text file,
• HTML file (File Extensions: PDF, TIF/TIFF, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, RTF, TXT, HTM/HTML, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, ODT, and ODS) 

PDF's are the preferred file type supported by the application.

Excel Files

Excel files are accepted but here are some things to note:

Excel docs are not visible in the application but have to be downloaded.

The page will show a message and you will need to click the download button to view.

To be ingested successfully, the Page Setup must have the print area set to format the page and avoid page sets per page breaks.

We also caution against the size of these documents; overly large documents will not be imported properly or at all.
