Touches

DataServ will begin tracking document touches as users push invoices through the workflow process. This will be the foundation of incorporating Touches into our Analytics and providing you with metrics to help you reach your goals for touchless processing.

Each time a document is changed, it will track the following:

• User
• Date/Time
• Status of the Document when opened
• Action: Document View

With each instance, the Touches field will increase. 

Note: As of the 2024.07 Release, simply viewing a document without making changes will not count as a Touch. Existing document Touches prior to this time are not being recalculated and will only be reflected going forward.
