August 2025 Release

The DataServ platform will be unavailable on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CT. During this time, we will deploy the 2025.08 release, which includes product updates, security improvements, and system maintenance.

Product Updates: 

• User Tagging in Document Viewer Discussion pane. You can now @mention teammates in the Discussion pane, which sends them an email that links straight to the document and comment. This long-requested enhancement—an idea that tied at 2nd place at Confluence 2024—makes it easier to collaborate and keep conversations anchored to the work at hand. Email notifications are enabled for everyone by default, and each user can turn them off in their personal settings if preferred.
  • Please note that for users to be directed to the specific document and comment, the user must already be logged into DataServ.

• SAFE AI-Enhanced PO Number Capture for Mexico E-Invoices. Behind the scenes, we now use AI to securely read purchase order (PO) numbers from the PDF version of each Mexican e-invoice and merge them with the data pulled from its XML file. This improves match accuracy and reduces manual cleanup, which is a major upgrade to the existing workflow.
  • If you are interested in getting access to the e-invoicing Mexico or Germany capability, please reach out to your Client Success Account Manager (CSAM) for more information.

Bug Fixes:

• We resolved an issue in the Multi-Document View where Payment Request documents appeared blank when they weren’t the first item opened.
• We corrected an issue in the Document Viewer where the Enter key no longer advanced to the next lookup field.
